As this door is weathered, worn and altered, so are my views of photography. I have toyed with it for years with many periods of abstinence followed by over indulgence. I can't shake it. I always come back to photography in one form or another as a creative outlet for my need to speak. I've drawn, written and spoke, but photography is the only form of speech I keep coming back to. Something in a picture grabs me and while I know it goes unseen or unheralded by anyone else, it hooks me and I find a solace in it. I hope you will give this blog a chance to expose myself to you in a way that speaks more to my inner being and less to my outward persona.
